Littlethorpe is an English civil parish within the unitary authority of North Yorkshire

The Parish Council meets bi-monthly in January, March, May, July, September and November. Extraordinary Meetings may be held within the required notice period at any other time. The Annual Meeting of the Parish Council, where the Chair is elected for the forthcoming year takes place in March. The Annual Meeting of the Parish, whereby the Parish Council facilitates a meeting of various groups within the parish takes place between March 1st and June 1st each year. All are invited to attend Parish Council Meetings, which take place generally in Littlethorpe Village Hall. The meetings are advertised on the Parish Notice Board and on the website.
